Welcome to the webpage for Margold Golden Retrievers owned by Jessica and Josh Hecock! We live in Northern California and you can learn about Roux and Vesper our current Margold pups throughout these pages. We got our first Golden Retrievers in 2004, and I (Jessica) started training for performance events in 2005. Over the years I have trained for and competed in agility, rally, obedience, dock diving, flyball and field events.

Margold is the kennel name for Josh and Jessica Hecock, inspired by Josh's first childhood Golden Retriever named Palomar. We continued the tradition with Barley Mar and Miramar. We decided we wanted to keep Mar in the name of all our dogs. Margold was registered with GRCA in 2010. We have bred one litter and plan to breed occasionally. Agility is my main focus and passion and I have competed with my dogs at several National events including AKC National Agility Championship, UKI West Coast Open and USDAA Cynosport. Outside of agility I love showcasing our breed versatility and have been able to attend four GRCA National Specialties earning Triathlon Awards on two different Goldens.

I am a current member of the NORCAL Golden Retriever Club and Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) and prior to moving I was an active member of the Agility Club of San Diego, Golden Retriever Club of San Diego County and Inland Valley Retriever Club. I have held several volunteer positions, at least one for each club! I am currently the Performance VP for NORCAL GRC and Agility HOF Statistician for GRCA.
